Practice x2
A couple of back-to-back classes--does a body good! Well, except for my left wrist, which is a bit sore (kotogaeshi this AM).
Last night "mixed" class with Sensei--I have often, more like almost always, had trouble with shomenuchi ikkyo against "giants". I can never catch the arm high enough to be effective. Sensei showed me an alternate way to catch the technique, let it come down to my level, and then do the technique. Still, it would be nice to be able to do "for real".
Another private lesson with Jory this AM, and I felt I came away with some good revisions to my technique. Jory is very practical. Sensei is very "zen", for lack of a better description.
